After attending college tours at several different colleges on the east coast (NYU, Princeton, UPenn, Harvard, UMaryland, etc.), we noticed a common trend: Inefficient Waste Removal Systems
We found litter scattered all around these different college campuses and city-areas. Along with this, we noticed waterbottles and glass in compost bins and food in recycling bins. For this reason, we created our Solarover which travels autonomously, picks up trash, and sorts the trash into either the recyclable or non-recyclable compartment based on the type of object
